Worth the Climb

Happy New Year!

To celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary this month we hiked an unfamiliar trail along the blustery Blue Ridge Parkway. The gem-like ice formations along the path and the 360-degree view of the Shenandoah and Rockfish Valleys were well “worth the climb,” as we sing in our song by that title (listen on Spotify and YouTube).

The night after our return home, six inches of snow arrived, enough to up-end plans and close county schools for four days (so far!) and send us into a flurry of plowing, sledding, and fort-building.
