A glimpse of early December

A glimpse of early December

For our first time, this Thanksgiving we joined a couple thousand runners for the local Turkey Trot. It was our daughter’s idea, and her visiting cousin came along, so it was a family affair – and lots of fun, even according to Christopher, who isn’t usually a fan of running and especially loved the run-by street-side spoonfuls of pumpkin pie. Can you find us in the photo?

And now the Christmas season is upon us! On our fall tour a new friend Sandy told us that our song “What If You Knew” made her think of Mary, the mother of Jesus. That connection hadn’t occurred to us before, but we’ve decided to include the song on a new seasonal playlist we’ve put together for you (see below).

We’re also including an cappella version of the same song arranged by Joel Ross of Good Company. We were delighted to sing it with them in concert last year (watch here), and now we’re enjoying their studio recording of it and the rest of their new album Happy Together (check it out in the Good Company store).

Also on the playlist are a couple tracks from our 2018 album Snow on Snow on Snow. One, “Solemn Stillness, Weary Streets,” was later arranged for the Voices Together hymnal, and we’ve enjoyed hearing the creative ways people bring it to life.

If Clymer & Kurtz merch would light up your loved ones’ faces this gift-giving season, don’t forget to save 10% by using the coupon code FALL2025 at clymerkurtz.com/gifts through Sunday, December 7, on hoodies for snugglers, t-shirts for summery types, stickers for water bottle lovers, and CDs for everyone.

We’re putting together some exciting gigs for the new year, and hope you can join us along the way. Stay tuned for more announcements!

Cheers,
Maria and Christopher
